Exploring the Local Language Students’ Foreign Language Anxiety in EFL Online Class: Students’ Genders and Speaking Performance

Students’ anxiety, speaking performance and their relation to genders have been investigated extensively in the EFL context most participants are English students, but of studies with same variables were conducted an offline setting. Thus, purpose this research is describe anxiety levels students who studied another language than learning investigate relationship between English-speaking classes. By employing a quantitative approach, 32 male 66 female Sundanese Language Culture Study Program whose assessed using Horwitz et al.’s (1986) Foreign Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) participated voluntarily research. Because data normally distributed homogenous, obtained analyzed parametric statistical tools; independent t-test Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The results imply that majority participants’ moderate, there was no difference students’ students.
